Blast furnace plays an important role in steel production. It is an iron-making vertical furnace with round cross section. Its main body comprises five parts from top to bottom: furnace throat, furnace body, furnace bosh, and furnace belly and furnace hearth. The Blast Furnace Iron-Making Technique has the advantages of simple process, high yield, high production efficiency, low energy consumption, etc. The iron produced by this technique accounts for over 95% of total iron yield in the world. In Blast Furnace melting, main product is pig iron, and by products are blast furnace slag and blast furnace gas. Due to lower production cost, blast furnace has become the main smelting equipment for steel enterprises.
